How Do I Migrate My BSL ETH Tokens to Hedera?

Migrate BSL ETH

Written by Nathaniel O'Dell

To Migrate BSL ETH tokens to Hedera, follow these steps:

This process involves verifying wallet ownership through the Etherscan signature process, ensuring secure and legitimate token migration from Ethereum to Hedera.

Overview of the Etherscan Signature Process

The Etherscan signature process involves signing a message through Etherscan to prove ownership of a specific crypto wallet. This process is particularly important for users holding ETH BSL tokens, as it allows BankSocial to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the wallet. Once verified, BankSocial can send you the corresponding BSL HTS tokens. Importantly, signing with Etherscan does not grant BankSocial access to your wallet or tokens. Your ETH BSL tokens remain in your wallet, even though they are void and cannot be interacted with.

Manual Migration Steps

This process ensures that only the rightful wallet owner can authorize the migration, adding an extra layer of security.

  1. Visit the following page:

  2. Connect the wallet that currently holds your BSL/ETH tokens.

  3. Sign the following message exactly as written:
I approve the 1:1 BSL token migration from the Ethereum network to the Hedera network

  4. Click Sign

    • You do not need to publish the message.

  5. From the confirmation screen, copy:

    • The signature hash

    • The ETH wallet address used to sign the message

  6. Send an email to [email protected] with the following information
    (screenshots will NOT be accepted):

    • ETH wallet address used to sign the payload

    • HBAR address where the migrated tokens should be sent

    • Signature hash received after signing

  7. BankSocial will confirm once your tokens have been successfully migrated to Hedera.

⚠️ Important

  • Submit all information in text format only

  • Screenshots will delay or prevent migration

  • Ensure addresses are accurate before submitting

  • Always use the genuine Etherscan link provided by BankSocial, available at support.banksocial.io

  • Avoid links from unverified sources to prevent phishing attempts or other security risks
