To access the full range of BankSocial products and services, you need to complete the Verifiied® (KYC) process. Follow these simple steps through the BankSocial app.

Step 1: Start Your Verification

  1. Open the BankSocial app.

  2. Go to Settings > Verification / KYC.

  3. Tap Start Verification to begin the process.

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

Provide the following information:

  • Email address – Use a valid email you actively check.

  • Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax ID – Required for identity verification.

Step 3: Upload Your Documents

You will need to provide a government-issued ID:

  • Accepted IDs: Passport, Driver’s License.

  • Requirements:

  • Clear, focused images

  • Both front and back if requested

  • Submit the full, unedited image of your document. Cropped or altered images may not be accepted.

Tip: Make sure your document is not expired and all details are visible. Ensure that the images are clear and legible to avoid delays or rejection.

Step 4: Liveness Selfie

Follow the on-screen instructions to take a liveness selfie:

  • Rotate your head as prompted

  • Ensure your face is fully visible

  • Grant camera access to the BankSocial app if prompted

Tip: This step prevents fraud and ensures the account belongs to you.

Step 5: Verify Your Address

  1. Enter your current address.

  2. Upload a Proof of Address, such as:

    • Bank statement

    • Utility bill

  • Requirements for proof of address:

    • Must be dated within the last 3 months

    • Must clearly show your full name and address

Step 6: Check Your Results

  • Once submitted, you will receive an email with your verification outcome.

  • You can also check your Verifiied® status directly in the Settings section of the BankSocial app.

Note: Verification may take a few minutes to a few days, depending on document clarity and accuracy.
