Staking your HBAR allows you to earn rewards while helping secure the Hedera network. You can easily stake directly within the BankSocial App by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the Earn Tab
Launch the BankSocial App
Navigate to the Earn tab to view available staking options
Step 2: Select HBAR
From the list of supported cryptocurrencies, tap HBAR
Review the staking details, including estimated rewards and any minimum staking requirements
Step 3: Choose a Node
Select a node to delegate your HBAR to
Nodes are responsible for validating transactions on the Hedera network
Step 4: Confirm Your Stake
Swipe right (or follow the on-screen confirmation) to finalize your staking
Your staked HBAR will now begin earning rewards according to the selected node’s schedule
Troubleshooting Staking Issues
If you encounter problems while staking:
Update the app: Make sure you are using the latest version of the BankSocial App
Check your balance: Ensure your wallet has sufficient HBAR to meet minimum staking requirements
Internet connection: Verify you have a stable connection during the staking process
Restart the app: Sometimes restarting the app resolves display or network issues
