🔒 Secura Tag Setup Guide: Upgrading Your Wallet Security

Your Secura Tag is a proximity-based hardware solution that provides an upgraded physical layer of protection for your digital wallet in the BankSocial app.

This guide will walk you through setting up both the physical tag and pairing it with your BankSocial wallet.

The setup process involves two main stages:

  1. Activating your physical Secura Tag using the Tile App.

  2. Pairing the activated tag with your BankSocial app.

Part 1: Activating Your Secura Tag (via the Tile App)

The Secura Tag uses Tile technology for its proximity features. You will need the "Tile" app to activate and manage the physical tag.

1. Download and Sign Up for the Tile App

  1. Go to your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

  2. Search for and Download the "Tile" app ("Making things findable").

  3. Open the Tile app and tap "Get Started."

  4. Enter your email address and tap Next.

  5. Check your email inbox for a verification code and enter the code into the app.

  6. You will be prompted to allow permissions. Tap Allow for Location Services.

  7. Select your Country from the list.

  8. Grant permissions for the following when prompted:

    • Battery Use (to ensure the app can run in the background).

    • Notifications (to receive alerts).

2. Activate the Physical Tag

  1. Tap "Activate Tile" in the app.

  2. Press and hold the button on your physical Secura Tag (Tile).

  3. Once the tag makes a ringing sound, click Next in the app.

  4. The app will display a message stating the tag is ACTIVE.

  5. When asked what you are using the Tile for, select "Wallet."

  6. Click Next.

  7. To confirm the connection, click FIND—it should cause your Secura Tag to ring.

Your physical tag is now activated and ready to be connected to your BankSocial wallet!

Part 2: Pairing the Secura Tag with BankSocial

This final stage links your activated tag to your digital wallet within the BankSocial app.

  1. Open the BankSocial App on your device.

    • Tip: You can use the dedicated setup link: https://banksocial.app.link/secura-tag-setup

  2. Navigate to Settings within the BankSocial app.

  3. Select Secure Tag (or Secura Tag).

  4. Tap Configure.

  5. Tap Set up and follow any final on-screen instructions to complete the pairing.

✅ Setup Complete!

Your Secura Tag is now paired with your BankSocial wallet. When active, sensitive actions (like sending funds) will only be possible when your Secura Tag is physically near your device.
